There are approx. 1.3 million schools in India which have enrolled 223 million students this academic year. India has wide spread inequities among the community of students based on economic , social, nutrition and healthcare variables. Some schools are among the best in Infrastructure and facilities, But large numbers of schools still conduct classes in dilapidated buildings without even basic amenities.

To add to this problem, the approach of teaching is seriously flawed resulting in students losing interest in education and dropping out much before even reaching the high school level. Those who move higher up, and beyond, are pushed up like robots with remote controls in the hands of parents and /or teachers who are obsessed with cracking exam -mechanisms, and in the process inadvertently cracking the wellbeing, passion for learning and wholesome growth of the students, causing irreparable damage to their psyche and world view.

AcaEx aims at introducing and encouraging Inquisitive Learning . It focusses on inculcating in students the `Values of Questioning` and delving deep in `Learning Explorations` until they understand the various facets of Concepts, Fundamentals, Conundrums and Problems with depth and originality.

AcaEx also underscores to teachers, the fundamental, that while it is important as to what and how they are teaching; even more important; are the students to who they are teaching . Parents are also counselled and advised to be supporters and co learners in the lives of their children and not drive them to fulfil their own unfulfilled aspirations. AcaEx is aiming to keep the students in the center stage by sensitively cognizing and empathizing with their concerns and unique needs. This will make students realize and believe that learning is a fun and a logical process, thus, creating affinity and desire to acquire knowledge lifelong.
